I have found little that this point of sale can’t do for standard SKU’s.   I can report on anything.  I can compare dates on sales from this year and last year within seconds. Searching for data is a breeze!  I can find out anything. ATF loves me. Making data-driven business decisions is a snap.

I was able to determine all firearms in my system that was more than 1 year old and now its part of our stand procedure to move old serialized inventory.

I can assign roles to my staff and trust that they will only have the functions I give them.  If I want to change it, it is just a simple change. I can customize my POS screen to look and feel how I want and I do! All the time!

I can get help on most anything not related to firearms. QuickBooks integration is great.  No more manual entries! Every accountant know QuickBooks and they can change less when doing taxes because they only need to see QuickBooks and not the POS too.

Licensing is true concurrent users.  I can log in from any computer to access my system. Runs on Remote DesktopTerminal Services.  I can remote in from anywhere in the world and access my system securely.

Integrates with industry standard everything!  Cash Drawers, Printers, Label machines and label software.   I have a membership card printer that talks directly to Counterpoint.

NCR Counterpoint Cloud is the perfect point of sale solution for us, packed with robust features every liquor and tobacco store owner dreams of. Now my stores are managed centrally by one system, connecting the inventory and physical counts across all locations. This ensures my associates know exactly what is in stock and is able to meet our customers’ expectations.

The check-out process is very smooth, and generally speaking, it takes only 20 minutes to train a cashier in how to use the system. Since Counterpoint can scan a driver‘s license into the system, my cashiers can quickly conduct the transaction without manually entering their birthdate. In addition, the customer’s information is saved in a profile, so I can sign them up for our email marketing programs or recommend similar products based on their order history.

Since sharing data between locations is so important, we are impressed with the speed in which we can access real-time, up-to-date information when we need to.

The accurate reporting allows us to offer discounts on many products that our competitors can’t. We can offer over $100,000 in discounts yearly because of Counterpoint’s extensive report library, giving us a competitive edge. In addition, our managers can take a more proactive approach in deciding how to distribute our products across 15 stores using Counterpoint’s merchandise planning and analytical capabilities.

Counterpoint has become the life-force of our business and immensely offsets the high cost of hiring more staff to manage our day-to-day operations. It has the power to seamlessly link the activity between multiple stores and report it back to me whenever I need it. We love Counterpoint’s endless capabilities, and we’re happy we don’t have to look for another system ever again.

Look, we’ve been doing this for nearly 75 years, and in that time we’ve had every-single-big-and-small-mass-retailer-who-is-going-to-close-us-down come to town. And here we are, still doing our thing.

Why? Well, first of all, we don’t have customers; we have relationships….

But after that, it is ENTIRELY about efficiency and adaptability. CP hits all those marks, especially in the hands of power users. The important part of that last sentence is ‘power user’; not everyone is!

We recently had an issue with receipt printers doing oddball stuff; after several hours of wrestling with it I gave up and called POS Highway. Eddie Mak gets on the phone with me and sees that the printer drivers are wrong, and after reinstalling the correct drivers all is good. The point to all this? EDDIE WAS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH, AND MADE A FRUSTRATING MOMENT MANAGEABLE AND PLEASANT.

You will never sell NCR CP to a customer looking to do the job on the cheap… it isn’t going to happen. That customer will not be convinced that spending money on their core infrastructure is well-spent… unless one of their peers or friends tell them about how well it works!
